Rest Area Km 88 Cipularang Tollway is located in a corridor that connects the vibrant Jakarta with its dynamic second-tier city of Bandung. This design is now envisioned as a model for similar utilitarian facilities around the country.

The traditional place for rest and respite now offers connectivity, physically and digitally, showcases commitment to sustainability, and even brings local harvest and surrounding outputs to the high-impact and high-performing network of on-road travel facilities. Surrounded by mountain vista, these two connected places redefine architectural intervention to urban-rural connector into high-performing facilities that fully respect the tapestry of agricultural heritage, art and craft collectives, and human capital development needs.
