We are a full-service interior and garden design studio located in Southern California and the Midwest. Our design aesthetic is rooted in the California coastal and tropical resort design - tailored, global, sustainable. We are also deeply inspired by the Rockies, the Midwest landscapes, and the East Coast urban center and seaside heritage. Our design is comfortable and elegantly articulated. Holding craftsmanship in high regard, we combine warm materials with clean lines, textural palettes of cultural storytelling, and fine detailing. The end result is spaces that are well narrated and welcoming: homes, workplaces, gardens, and public spaces that can be celebrated for effortless style. Our Services Interior Architecture & Design: Transform and celebrate spaces
A holistic approach complete with cultural narratives and ecological care is built for the client’s needs and lifestyle. The interior architecture process of space planning, the selection and overseeing application of hard materials, and a manipulation of all internal layouts. The process involves visualizing design intent, overseeing budget, hard material selection, and liaising, selecting, and assisting builders on site to see the project through to completion. A selection process of a considered palette of materials, furniture, and accessories often responsive but always cohesive with the interior architecture. The decorative scheme is also holistically considered in line with the interior architecture. The furniture selection is sourced and considered with quality and variety in mind. Overall, the interior design process involves selection, procurement and overseeing installation of all fixtures, fittings, lighting, soft furnishings and accessories - including materials from women cooperatives and artisans we work with in Indonesia and other global regions. Garden Design: Greening up spaces The spatial extension of our interior spaces is not only expanded our views but connect us back to our nature - wherever we are. Whether at grade or on elevated rooftop areas, we combine architecture technique and gardening strategies to create functional and meaningful outdoor spaces. From developing plant palette to furniture and accessories, we bring in native and considered decorative materials for a memorable, context sensitive, and low impact gardens. Artwork and Creative Direction: Sensual spaces The final touch to any home or space, styling the decorative aspect to interiors. While artwork is developed as part of the initial process of thinking and developing design, our creative direction is offered at the end of the project to dress, style and complete a space. Often underestimated, this process is fundamental in delivering the layers of personality and considered touch points. |
